DOA MOHON AMPUN .. "Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'anni" ..

"Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'anni" 

is a powerful, authentic prophetic prayer (dua) for forgiveness,

 particularly recommended during the last ten nights of Ramadan, especially on Laylatul Qadr. 

It translates to:

 "O Allah, indeed You are the Pardoning One, You love to pardon, so pardon me".

Full Arabic and MeaningArabic:

 اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Transliteration:

 Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'anni.

Meaning:

 "O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me."

It is the specific dua Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) taught Aisha (ra) for Laylatul Qadr.

Concept of 'Afw: 

The term 'Afw means more than just forgiveness; it means for Allah to totally erase and wash away sins, as if they never happened.

 While highly recommended in the last ten nights of Ramadan, it can be recited anytime to seek Allah’s mercy.
