This is a beautiful and powerful traditional Islamic supplication (Dua) for sustenance, protection from unlawful earnings, and self-sufficiency.

The Complete Arabic Text & Transliteration

اَللّٰهُمَّ يَا غَنِيُّ يَا حَمِيدُ، يَا مُبْدِئُ يَا مُعِيدُ، يَا رَحِيمُ يَا وَدُودُ، أَغْنِنِيْ بِحَلاَلِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَبِطَاعَتِكَ عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ، وَبِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

Transliteration:

"Allahumma ya ghaniyyu ya hamid, ya mubdi'u ya mu'id, ya rahimu ya wadud, aghnini bi halalika an haramika, wa bi ta'atika an ma'siyatika, wa bi fadlika 'amman siwaka."

"O Allah, O Self-Sufficient, O Praiseworthy, O Originator, O Restorer, O Merciful, O Loving.

 Suffice me with what is lawful (Halal) so that I do not turn to what is unlawful (Haram). 

Suffice me with Your obedience so that I do not turn to Your disobedience.

 And suffice me with Your grace so that I do not need anyone besides You."

Divine Names: 

It calls upon seven specific names of Allah related to wealth, creation, and mercy.

Halal Sustenance: 

It asks for clean, lawful income to protect you from sinful earnings.

Obedience:

 It seeks the strength to stay on the right path and avoid disobedience.

Independence: 

It asks for Allah's bounty so you never have to depend on people.

Friday Prayers: 

Often recited after the Friday (Jummah) prayer.

During Financial Stress: 

Recited regularly when seeking a job or facing debts.
