"Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel" ..

 
The powerful statement

 "Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel"

 (حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ) 

is found in Surah Ali 'Imran (3:173).

 "Sufficient for us is Allah, and 

[He is] the best Disposer of affairs."

 

The verse describes the noble Companions of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). 

When they were warned that a massive enemy army had gathered to attack them, it only increased their faith.

 Instead of fearing, they relied entirely on Allah and uttered these words.

Historical Significance: 

According to Hadith in Sahih Bukhari, this was also the exact prayer uttered by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) when he was thrown into the fire.
