"La ilaha illal-lahul-wahidul-qahhar, rabbus-samawati wal-ardi wama baynahuma, al-'azeezul-ghaffar"

Reciting

 "La ilaha illal-lahul-wahidul-qahhar, rabbus-samawati wal-ardi wama baynahuma, al-'azeezul-ghaffar"

carries immense spiritual virtues rooted in Sunnah, primarily serving as a powerful defense, a declaration of absolute monotheism (Tawheed), and a means to attain divine protection and forgiveness.

1. The Sunnah of Waking or Turning at Night

The primary established virtue of this supplication is its timing.

According to a Sahih (authentic) Hadith narrated by Sayyidah 'Aisha (radiyallahu 'anha), the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) used to recite this invocation whenever he turned over or stirred during sleep at night.

Scholars note that reciting it during these moments of vulnerability helps a believer instantly refocus their mind on Allah, renewing their faith even in a semi-conscious state.

2. Deep Affirmation of Tawheed (Monotheism)

This Dhikr directly acknowledges the majestic traits of the Creator:

• La ilaha illallah:

Reaffirms that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah.

• Al-Wahidul-Qahhar:

Recognizes Him as The One, The Subduer, who holds absolute dominion over everything.

• Rabbus-samawati wal-ard:

Declares Him the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens, the earth, and everything between them.

wallahu a'lam ..
