 Ya Dzul Jalali Wal Ikram"

is a powerful Islamic dhikr (remembrance) meaning

"O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor."

It combines Allah’s attributes of eternal life, self-sufficiency, and supreme glory, acting as a profound supplication for spiritual strength, anxiety relief, and urgent needs.

Key Aspects of this Dhikr:

It invokes Allah as the One who is alive and holds all existence

(Al-Hayyu Al-Qayyum)

and the Owner of ultimate grandeur and bounty

(Dzul Jalali Wal Ikram).

It is often used to seek protection, healing, and the easing of difficulties, as it is considered one of the most comprehensive and beautiful ways to call upon Allah.

Emotional & Mental Strength:

Regular recitation is believed to bring tranquility to the heart, remove anxiety, and strengthen one’s spiritual state.

Increasing Dignity:

It is highly recommended to recite this frequently (e.g., 100 times, or in high numbers) to increase honor and respect in the eyes of others.

Fulfilling Needs:

It is often recited to seek help in resolving difficult situations.

Related Supplication:

 A common related dua is

"Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum,

bi rahmatika astaghits"

 (O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, by Your mercy I seek help),

which is used to seek relief from problems, sometimes recommended 40 times between the Sunnah and Fard of Fajr.
