SURAH AL HASYR AYAT 22-24 ..

The final three verses of 

Surah Al-Hashr

(verses 22–24)

QS AL HASYR 22-24 ..

Verse 22

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ۖ هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٢٢

Verse 23

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ٢٣

Verse 24

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخَـٰلِقُ ٱلْبَارِئُ ٱلْمُصَوِّرُ ۖ لَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٢٤

English Translation and Meaning

Verse 22: 

Translates to declare Allah as the sole deity and the Knower of the unseen and seen, the Most Compassionate and Merciful.

Major Virtues and Rewards

Forgiveness by Angels:

 According to a narration reported by Tirmidhi and Ahmad, whoever recites these verses in the morning has seventy thousand angels praying for their forgiveness until the evening.

 If recited in the evening, the angels pray for them until the morning.

Status of Martyrdom: 

The prophetic tradition states that if a person passes away on the same day or night they recited these final verses of Surah Al-Hashr, they die with the status of a martyr (shahīd).

Connection to Allah's Greatest Name (Ism al-A'dham): 

Many Islamic scholars note that these specific verses contain Ism al-A'dham—the Greatest Name of Allah. Making du'a (supplication) after reciting these majestic names serves as a powerful means for acceptance.

Describes Allah as the Creator (Al-Khāliq), the Inventor (Al-Bāri'), and the Fashioner (Al-Musawwir), noting that everything in the heavens and earth glorifies Him.
