It is recommended to read it at night, as there are hadiths indicating that surah al-mulk transliteration intercedes for its reader, and protects him from the torment of the grave.
Reflect on this Hadith about the Greatness of this Surah:
“إنَّ سورةً من القرآن ثلاثون آية شفعت لرجلٍ حتى غُفِر له، وهي سورةُ تبارك الذي بيده الملك.”
رواه الترمذي وأبو داود وابن ماجه وحسنه الترمذي وصححه الألباني.
Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“There is a sūrah in the Qur’ān of thirty verses; it intercedes for a man until he is forgiven, and it is Sūrat Tabārak (Blessed Be He in Whose Hand is the Dominion).”
This hadith explains the virtue of reciting Surat Al-Mulk (the Blessed) and its effect on intercession on the Day of Resurrection for those who regularly recite it.
Surah al-mulk transliteration reminds us that everything in the universe is by the command of Allah and that this worldly life is short, which motivates the Muslim to renew his intention, correct his actions, and think about the afterlife.
