The greatness of the Throne:
The greatness of al-‘Arsh is clearly stated in the Hadith in which the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“The seven heavens and the seven earths by the side of al-Kursi are nothing but like a ring thrown down in a desert land, and such is al-Kursi in comparison to al-`Arsh
(the Throne).”
[Reported by Ibn Abi Shaybah (al-`Arsh 58), and Al-Bayhaqi (al-Asmaa’ was-Sifaat (862) with both narrations being from the way of Abi Dhar. Shaykh al-Albani graded it as Sahih due to corroborating chains in al-Sahihah 109]
Benefits of reciting surah – AYATUL KURSI
- Driving away the Shaytan, protecting one’s belongings and home.
- Easy birth giving
- when the time for delivery comes Mohammad SAW commanded to recite Ayatul Kursi and blow on that woman giving birth
- Angeles as security guards
- whoever recites Ayatul Kursi before going to bed, Allah SWT appoints two angels to guard him till the morning.
- Ayatul Kursi is the best form of security.
- It is equal in reward to a quarter of the Holy Qur’an.
- The one who recites it will be given protection from thieves.
- When recited upon any food, barakah is imparted to such food.
