DUA MUSA AS .. "Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khairin faqir"..

Context & Origin

This prayer is found in the Quran in Surah Al-Qasas (28:24).


 It was recited by Prophet Musa (Moses) AS. He made this desperate plea after fleeing from Egypt to Mada'in. He arrived exhausted, homeless, hungry, and with absolutely no resources. 

After helping two young women water their flock out of pure kindness, he rested under the shade and turned to Allah with this humble request.
