The Hadith mentioning a reward of 40 million good deeds is recorded in Jami At-Tirmidhi.

It details a specific and powerful supplication (Dhikr) that yields this immense reward when recited just 10 times.

The Supplication

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that whoever recites this Kalimah ten times will have forty million good deeds recorded for them:

Arabic Transliteration:

Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill-Allah, wahdahu la sharika lah, ilahan wahidan ahadan, samadan, lam yattakhidh sahibatan wa la waladan, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad.

"I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner.

The One God, the only One, the Self-Sufficient Master,

Who has neither taken a wife nor children, and there is none equal to Him."

Details of the HadithSource:

Jami' at-Tirmidhi (Hadith 3473).

Narrator: Sayyidina Tamim ad-Dari (RA).

Reward: 40,000,000 good deeds for reciting it 10 times.

Authenticity:

While some scholars of Hadith note that the chain of narration contains some weakness, it is widely accepted and recommended by scholars for voluntary recitation and accumulating virtues.
