AL MUTTAQUN ..

 

[Surah Ali Imran] 

 

Characteristics of al-Muttaqun

 

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala says:

❛[Al-Muttaqun are] 

 

those who are patient,

 

those who are truthful,

 

those who are obedient in worshipping Allah,

 

those who spend [in the Way of Allah],

 

and those who seek forgiveness before dawn.❜

 

【Surah Ali ‘Imran 3:17】

 

Allah Says [meaning of which is]:

 

 “Allah loves those who are mindful of Him (Al-Muttaqeen)” 

 

[Qur’an 9:4].

The word Muttaqun comes from the word Taqwa. 

 

It is reported that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, 

 

“Taqwa is here” and he pointed to his chest three times” 

 

[Muslim]. 

 

In another narration, he is reported to have said, 

 

“Allah does not look to your bodies nor to your faces but He looks to your hearts” and he pointed towards his chest with his fingers 

 

[Muslim].

 

QS. Ali 'Imran Ayat 17

 

اَلصّٰبِرِيْنَ وَالصّٰدِقِيْنَ وَالْقٰنِتِيْنَ وَالْمُنْفِقِيْنَ وَالْمُسْتَغْفِرِيْنَ بِالْاَسْحَارِ

 

17. (Juga) orang yang sabar, 

orang yang benar, 

 orang yang taat, 

orang yang menginfakkan hartanya, dan 

orang yang memohon ampunan pada waktu sebelum fajar.
